Day 2, Rome food tour
Rome This morning make your way to the meeting point and begin your Food walking tour of Rome. Venture off the beaten path to experience the real flavors of Rome in the vibrant neighborhoods of Trastevere and Campo de’ Fiori. Along the way, we’ll share insider tips on Italian cuisine and introduce you to local food specialties, immersing you in Rome’s rich culinary traditions. In between each delicious tasting, you’ll get a glimpse into the history, culture, and architecture that define the Eternal City. Day 3, Vatican Tour
This morning you will be escorted on a tour of the Vatican Museums. You will walk up the beautiful Spiral Staircase and continue through the Tapestries Gallery of the Geographical Maps. You will continue with the visit of the famous Sistine Chapel with its magnificent frescos of Michelangelo. The balance of the day is at leisure to enjoy Rome on your own. Overnight in Rome.
Day 4, Chianti Wine Tour
This morning take the train to Florence. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon make your way to the meeting point for your excursion to the famous Chianti Wine Region. The tour includes the visit of a typical wine estate with tour of the cellars followed by a wine tasting of their local wines. Return to Florence and your hotel in late afternoon. Overnight in Florence.
Day 5, Cooking Class in Florence
Today you will learn the secrets of the Tuscan cuisine. Join a group in the city center, with your chef you will visit a local food market to select and pick the fresh ingredients to use during the cooking class. You will prepare a full Italian style lunch including homemade fresh pasta. The cooking class is followed by a lunch in a local restaurant.
The balance of the day is at leisure, you could take a guide tour to explore one of the famouse Art Gallery of the Towns such as the “Uffizi” Gallery and the “Academia of Fine Arts” Gallery. Overnight in Florence.
Day 6, Florence to Venice & Venice food tour
This morning take the train to Venice. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon make your way to the meeting point for your gourmet tour experience through the famous narrow streets (Calle) and bridges of Venice. Overnight in Venice.
Day 7, Venice City Tour
Today you will have a walk outdoors through the most characteristic and important places for the history of Venice. You will be escorted through the millennium of life of the Serenissima Republic, recalling the past full of charm of this unique city. The tour includes the visit the splendid rooms and the prisons of Doges Palace which represented for centuries the seat of the Venetian political power and the visit of St Mark’s Square and the splendid facade of the Basilica. After the tour you will have a chance to take a ferry to the Isle of Murano for the visit of a glass factory and discover one of the Venetian greatest arts. Overnight in Venice.
Day 8, Departure
Departure from Venice – After breakfast check out from your hotel, meet your driver for your transfer to the airport.
