Day 1, Arrival in Lucerne
Upon your arrive in Zurich airport continue to Lucerne by train. Check in hotel, the balance of the day is at leisure to discover the famous “Chapel Bridge” and the Old Town on your own. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 2, Lucerne to Lugano
Today a fascinating trip to Ticino Region the Italian speaking area of Switzerland to the lake town of Lugano. Board the nostalgic paddle steamer and cruise to Flüelen on Lake Lucerne. Change in Flüelen to your 1st class panoramic carriage Gotthard Panorama Express which takes you to Lugano. The balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Lugano.
Day 3, Lugano
Enjoy a full day at leisure on Lake Lugano. We suggest to take the local ferry for a cruise on the lake and enjoy the beautiful landscape or to take the funicular railway to the panoramic summit of Mt Bre’ and enjoy the top yields views of the city and Lake Lugano. Overnight in Lugano.
Day 4, Bernina Express
Early in the morning depart Lugano by bus to the Italian town of Tirano on the border with Switzerland. Change here to the famous panoramic train “Bernina Express train” passing the Alps and the Glaciers of Mt Bernina to the luxury mountain resort of St. Moritz. Overnight in St. Moritz.
Day 5, St. Moritz
Today a day at leisure to enjoy the mountain resort of St. Moritz on your own. Overnight in St. Moritz.
Day 6, Glacier Express
Today we have reserved for you a panoramic seat on board of the world-famous Glacier Express for a fascinating trip through the highest glaciers of Switzerland from St. Moritz to Zermatt. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 7, Zermatt
Today a day at leisure to enjoy the mountain resort of Zermatt on your own. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 8, Departure
After breakfast check out hotel and transfer by train to Zurich airport or your next destination in Switzerland. End of Tour.
